Also, be sure you have enough power, i15 phones require more power. I have carried the wallet for years. I use it to easily switch purses at home. The rest of my things fit in a wallet I keep in my console. I don’t use those as much.

Great tips! Cathy is Canada and US on the same adapter? Bagalini bags make handbags with RFID you just have to watch for that .. I use those shampoo bars you can throw those on you carry in bags

Loved the video! But the carry-on you featured (Level 8 - 20 inch) is actually 22.8 according to the posted dimensions, it is larger the either West-jet or AirCanada allow. West-jet allows 21 and AirCanada 21.5. I think they are pretty fussy about that! Too bad because I loved the bag!

I went to Europe in April. Bought a pair of Hoka tennis shoes. They were not broken in when I went and I walked 10k plus steps eveeyday and my feet never hurt, ever. When I purchased them the shop told me I had 47 days to return even after I told her about my trip. Best purchase ever. They are pricy but worth it. Lots of info, thank you.

I'm not sure I'll be going to Europe, but I travel often and find these tips helpful for any kind of travel. That carry-on suitcase is pretty amazing with all the compartments... thinking now of switching out my huge case since I've learned to pack more efficiently! Very helpful tips, especially that one about the name on luggage tags and where to place them. Dressing rooms are pretty good places for counting cash also.

Great points, Cathy! I am totally with you on the lightweight bras. I simply cannot STAND any kind of bra in summer that has padding. Wacoal used to make one (I still have it) that is my absolute favorite for summer. It's called the "Keep Your Cool Seamless Underwire Bra". I have to wear little silicone nipple covers with it for modesty, but I don't feel those. I keep searching for this bra because I want another but can't find it anywhere 🙁. I hope they didn't discontinue it. If I can't find it, I'm gonna try the Bra-lelujah by SPANX. I still wear my Neiwai Barely Zero underwear in the summer. it's thin, lightweight & quick-dry even though it's nylon. An I'm with you 100% on sandals. My feet get really hot in the summer, so the only time I wear closed shoes are when I'm wearing athletic trainers, or if I'm working outside and need to protect my feet. I'm envious of your thick hair! My hair has changed so much in the past 10 years, both in thickness and texture. I used to have more curl and coarseness, now it's fine and wavy. So unruly. And my head is the first thing that sweats on me so I can't wear makeup in the summer if I'm going to be outside for a long period of time. Just SPF. Well, I've written a book! Thanks for your video. I concur with natural fabrics, wide leg/flowy pants and all your points!

Great video Cathy. A good pair of walking shoes is so important! When I bring my skincare, I decant them in smaller bottles if need be and I found that if you lay them on their side in the TSA approved bag, you can fit more than if you put them up.

You offer so much important info to your viewers! Job well done! I have to carry a camera backpack for my camera equipment, so I need a more convenient carry-on. I'm going to look into Level8. It looks like a good deal.

The travel steamer does not work in Europe. It is the wrong voltage.

This was awesome! When I travel, it’s usually for business so this is very helpful. I have a good friend who travels a lot for pleasure and you’ve given me some good gift ideas, so thank you for that also!

The Halos eye masks is so wonderful. I own 2. It has made such a change in taking naps during the day in the hotel rm when my husband is at the computer. No problem with turning the lights off. Also if you are going to Alaska, these are a must!!

Thanks for the tips Cathy! I find I like loose fit, airy cotton tops. I had gotten 2 linen 1's from Chico's last year and it's a bit coarse feeling. So I got 4 cotton tops from Talbots. Not thick and hangs well. I can sooo relate to the hair issue. My hair isn't thick but I have a lot of it and I get it thinned out about a mth, mth and half b/c i can't stand to feel it on my neck in the summer and with the humidity I look like einstein or a rats nest. I try but after awhile I just don't care or I'd never leave the house. I wear minimal make up too b/c I sweat too much, so why bother? Not sure if you can tell but summer is not my fav season. I feel zapped too. Sorry if I sound so neg. Thanks for the tips!

My mother was six feet tall and, even after six children, still very slim. Capris (pedal pushers in my youth of the 50s) made even her look dumpy and squat, no matter her height and slimness. I still have a pair of her capri summer pj's but they're more sentimental than wearable. I'll be happy when they go the way of the rotary dial phone. 😊

That you have lost weight while having so much stress in your life is a miracle! My husband died of lung cancer when he was 35. It was 6 months from the day we found out to the day he died. I can't imagine going thru that for 30 yrs!! I understand your feelings about being an orphan. Both of my parents are gone too, and my oldest sister died a couple of years ago and my brother is 80 yrs old. I'm the youngest at 75 and I had a "come to Jesus" moment 13 months ago and went on a low carb eating plan. I've lost 43lbs and that darn scale can be so stubborn!! I haven't budged for the last month, but I'm in it for the long haul. It took me 40 yrs to put it on, so it's going to take years to get it off!! I have 60 more pounds to go before I reach my goal. Your journey is also supporting mine! You go girl!! Here's to living a non obese life!! Hugs and prayers to you and your husband ❤❤

Rayon can be made from bamboo. It’s actually often quite breathable. Tencel, sometimes called Lyocell, is a version of rayon that is more environmentally friendly in the manufacturing process than viscose. Rayon challis is an excellent, lightweight, drapey, cool fabric for summer. A lot of sundresses and swimsuit coverups are made from rayon challis. It’s lovely to wear but tricky to sew with - it frays very easily and shifts easily when constructing garments. Rayon spandex is a really common PJ or T shirt fabric because it’s lightweight, cool, comfy, and stretchy. The quality of the fabric can vary widely. When really thin and worn tight, it shows every lump. When done right, it’s wonderful to wear. Also very tricky to sew with though!
